Education Vice Presidents
The Education Vice Presidents are committed to supporting students achieve academically and feel confident entering the legal profession. Our role extends beyond events: we aim to strengthen and identify gaps in existing academic support, and advocate for initiatives that enhance academic performance and professional preparedness.
In 2026, our focus is on accessibility, practical guidance, and creating meaningful pathways between law school and the legal profession. Through mentoring, exam support, and recruitment activities, we seek to ensure students feel supported at every stage of their journey in law school.
Dentons Mentoring Programme
The Dentons Mentoring Programme connects junior law students with senior students who can provide guidance, reassurance, and practical advice. Junior law students are paired with experienced mentors who can answer questions about course selection, study strategies, extracurricular involvement, and overall navigating law school.
Study Series
Study Series provides targeted support in core compulsory papers in Part II and III.
Before exams, we run workshops led by high-achieving students who have excelled in these papers. These sessions cover:
• How to effectively structure answers to essay-type and problem questions
• Common questions that come up
• Exam strategy
• Study techniques
Study Series is designed to complement course teaching by offering peer-led insight into what strong performance looks like in practice.
Recruitment Season Events
Recruitment season can feel overwhelming, but fear not! Our recruitment events are designed to acquaint students with the process and provide them with practical tools to approach it with confidence and clarity.
Throughout recruitment season, we host:
Firm panels with recruiters and solicitors
Networking mixers with top firms
CV and cover letter workshops
Through these events, we aim to demystify the recruitment process and ensure students feel prepared and confident during recruitment season.
